Black-winged Stilt, Willow Tree Fen LWT, Lincs.
A bit blowy today with a hint of freezing. Took myself off to Spalding to catch up with the Black-winged Stilt. It was a bit distant though. Nothing else to see here but there seemed to be a Bittern booming from the reed filled ditches south of The Delph.
It was then a coin toss to see if I should go home to get warm or head off to Frampton. Luckily I chose the latter. It was still very cold and windy with lots of rain & hail. Lots of Ruff coming into display plumage and a Little ringed Plover.

The Reedbed pool seemed to have a number of Avocets. A whimbrel was seen with Curlew in the flooded fields. Passerines were represented by a mix of Linnets, White Wagtails, Yellow Wagtails, Reed Buntings and Wheatears around the 360 hide.
